He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Cullison and Herbert Cullison Sr.; his wife Rita Ash Cullison; his siblings, Charlie Cullison, Stan Cullison, Linda Butler, Janice Jetter and Shirley Bryan; and his grandchildren, Kimberly and Nathan Persons.
He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Persons (Curtis) of Teague; his grandchildren, Pamela Zambrano (Jesus) of Teague, Curtis Persons II (Jayme) of Teague and Brandon Persons of Teague; his great grandchildren, Kimber Persons, Isaiah Zambrano, Yaretzi Zambrano, Curtis Persons III, Ruby Zambrano, Keilan Persons and Mateo Zambrano; and his nephew Ricky Bryan (Stacy) of Weatherford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
