She was predeceased by: her parents, C. H. Speer and Cillo Speer; her siblings, Linda Kay Shumate and Melvin Jay Speer; and her granddaughter Megan Maxwell.
She is survived by: her husband Bert Speer; and her children, Marc (Sandra), Richard, Julia, Celia, Sarah and Christina (Lee). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren plus nieces, nephews and dear friends.
