She was predeceased by: her daughter Shanda Lou Houghton. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Carter; her children, Lori Ann Stanton, Edward LeRoy Vining Jr. (Tina) and Richard John Vining; and her siblings, Mike Lynch (Billie), Tim Lynch (Rebecca) and Mary Lou Filer (John). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
