He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Edward Hawkins and Dolly Dolores Houston; his wife Carmen Hawkins; and his siblings, Albert Hawkins and Dolores Berry.
He is survived by: his sisters, Beth Wickwire (Jerry) of Temple and Marjean Farmer (Rick) of Oklahoma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hewett - Arney Funeral Home (14 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
