She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garcia and Tomasa Garcia; her husband Victor Mares, Sr.; her brother Albert Garcia; her children, Victor Mares, Jr. and Silvana Mares; and her granddaughter Victoria Aviles.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Mares, Robert Mares, Eloy Mares, Mary Linda Cobos, Olga Moreno, Yolanda Mares, Rebecca Miller and Lilly Mares. She is also survived by her numerous friends, relatives.
