It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Irene Marek of Temple, Texas, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Beaty and Kate Beaty (Wilkinson); her spouse Augustine Joseph Marek; and her brother Howard Beaty. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Marek (Shirley), Johnny Marek (Beverly), Marilyn Brazeal, Jeanie Pegues (Michael) and Linda Barganier (Grady). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
