He was predeceased by: his wife Nona Rhoades; his parents, Louis Rhoades and Alta Rhoades; and his siblings, Raymond Rhoades, Troy Rhoades, Ruby King and Geneva Wadell.
He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Rhoades (Karen) of Salado, Jerry Rhoades of Belton and Randall Rhoades (Sherri) of Kempner; and his grandchildren, Amy Renegar of Belton and Alex Rhoades of Kempner. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services (5431 U. S. Hwy 190, Belton, TX 76513). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
