He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Edgar and Johnnie Emma Watts (Pierce); his former wife Velvia Watts; his siblings, Mary Watts, Marquerite Nell Southerland, Albert Watts, George Watts, Bud Watts and Max Watts; and his stepdaughters, Corina Berrong and Gereta Murphy.

He is survived by: his significant other Jewell McBryde; and his stepchildren, Patsy Esrallian of Dennison, Linda Moore, Janet Haynes, Patricia Goodman of Temple, TX, Shirley Martin of Corpus Christi, TX and Michael Sosa of Austin, TX. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
