He was predeceased by: his former wife Gaylene Hester; his son Richard Gayle Hester; and his sisters, Nell Koonce and Jean Moon. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Humphrey; and his sister Ruth Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
