He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Carroll Crews; his wife Lyda Lynn Aycock; his mother Lenora Annabelle Hoff Crews (Hoff); and his brothers, Duane Crews and Linton Crews.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanna Ross of Victoria, Ross Crews (Lorraine) of Rogers and Clayton Crews (Missie) of Belton; his sister Iris Rodgers (Lane Rodgers) of Victoria; his grandchildren, Nicole Ross, Candice Eixman, Elise Pittman, Casey Crews, Sloan Crews and Connor Crews; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Mora, Emery Eixman, Jett Eixman, Ellison Eixman and Hallie Pittman; and his former wives, Ann Cook, Linda Gregory and Loretta Gowan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lance's memory to the Greater Temple Belton Foundation for Animal Care, 1604 West Avenue H, Temple, Texas 76504.
