He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lemons and Emma Davis Lemons; and his siblings, Leroy Lemons, Walter Lemons, Will Davis, Emma Lomax, Maurine Patterson, Idia Braxton and Laura Calhoun.
He is survived by: his brothers, L. C. Davis of Dallas and Byron Lemons of Temple, Texas. He is also survived by 12 nephews; and 10 nieces; along with other relatives, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Branford Dawson Funeral Home (718 S 7th St, Temple, TX 76503). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
