He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Cater and Joyce Cater. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Cater, Lynda Rieger (Ken Rieger) and Kim Joseph Hansen (Steve Hansen); his stepson Dan Glushko (Mackenzie Glushko); and his granddaughter Stella Glushko.
