He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Cannon and Winnie Day Cannon; and his sister Louise Cannon Griffith of The Woodlands. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Benoit; his nephew James William Griffith Jr. of The Woodlands; and his niece Pamela Griffith Freeman of Ely, Minnesota. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
