He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry Howard and Maysie Von Parrott Howard; his son Eugene Howard; and his brother Steve Howard. He is survived by: his wife Claudine Howard of Tenaha; his children, Kathy Howard Reid of Lubbock, Deanne Lynn Howard of Lubbock, Henry Paul Howard (Evelyn) of Harker Heights, Michael Wilson (Peggy) of Tenaha, Glenda Wilson Johnson (Larry) of Hobbs and Lea Wilson Cassell (Mike) of Center; his grandchildren, Jason Reid (Kim) of Lubbock, Aaron Reid (Erica) of Fort Worth, David Reid of Lubbock, Matt Reid (Jenna) of Lubbock, Damien Howard of Lubbock, Holly Wilson of Jackson, Colton Wilson (Nataley) of Center, Amanda Weldy (Jason) of Hobbs, Ty Johnson (Yadi) of Hobbs, Sheridan Cassell of Center, Jayton Scarborough (Brayden) of Center, Connor Cassell of Center, Melanie Milinarich of Harker Heights, Lauren Mahl of Lone Tree and Haley Howard; his sister Joann Condit of Arizona; and his sisters-in-law, Chonita Howard of California, Maxine, Raimon Collins of Logansport and Marie Rascoe of Colorado. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
