While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Larry Arnold Matthews and Sherry Matthews; his child Calvary Baptist Church; his wife Jennifer Matthews; his children, Emily Matthews and Hayden Matthews; and his siblings, Bart Matthews and Laura Matthews.
