We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, David Bowden in Terrell, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Selester Lee (Phereba Leona Bowden) and Heaven; his brother Jerry Bowden; his wife Mittie Bowden; his son Wade Bowden (Amanda Rolwing); his stepchildren, Sundra Powers (James "Jimmy"), Dwayne Jacks, Kristal King and Pam Cunningham (Elbert); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Cassidy, Gracie, Cayden, Michelle, Kristy, Kayla, Karlie, Joshua and Shelby. He was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren along with other extended family.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations (642 N Rockwall Ave, Terrell, TX 75160). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (203 Main St, Terrell, TX 75160-2443).

David's family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to; Faith at Work Ministries at http://www.faithatworkministries.org in Kemp, Texas, a mission minded group close to David's heart.
