Dylan Harrison Obituary

Dylan Sophia Harrison passed away on August 16, 2025. She was the only child, born on July 12, 2013, in Plano, Texas, to Mitchell and Heather Harrison. Also known as Dillie Picklez, Dylan made the world brighter with her big heart and joyful spirit. Everyone who met her adored her gentle and kind nature.

Dylan's life was full of fun and adventure. She loved singing; especially karaoke, singing her favorite songs with friends. She taught herself to play many songs on the piano by watching YouTube videos. She could draw just about anything she set her eyes on, but didn't care for coloring the pages. She was truly gifted when it came to music and art. Homeschooled her entire school journey, and part of a wonderful co-op, Dylan loved to learn, create, and spend time with friends and family.

Dylan was always on the move. She practiced gymnastics, and had just mastered her double back handspring, as well as practiced aerial silks, with her favorite positions getting to do flips on the silks and the basic butterfly. She also enjoyed archery. Whatever activity she was learning, Dylan put her whole heart into it.

Dylan loved wolves from a young age. Her room is filled with different wolf items and seems like half her shirts have wolves on them. She once went to the zoo and howled at the wolves hoping they'd reciprocate. In her household, Harry Potter was held in high regard and Dylan knew from the age of 3 that she was a born Slytherin. One of her most beloved characters was Professor Lupin a werewolf. She loved to play both online and table games and utilized her alternate identity, Lilly Wolfington, as her character's name.

She was such a thoughtful girl, always caring deeply about the people around her, and loving with all her heart. Her sweetness and energy made her a joy to be around. You rarely saw her without a smile and excitement in her eyes. Dylan will always be remembered for her creativity, kindness, and the happiness she brought into the lives of everyone she knew.

She lived life with excitement and care, leaving behind so many wonderful memories that her family, friends, and community will always treasure. Dylan's spirit will live on in every drawing, every song, and every happy memory she created.

Left to grieve Dylan's unforgettable memory are her parents, Mitchell and Heather Harrison; grandparents: Mike and Cindy Harrison, Kathy Horton, and Gordan Barnsley; uncle, Thomas Horton and wife Jaci, with their son, Cillian; aunts: Hannah Gunderson and husband Daniel, Tracie Witt and husband, Jim, with their children: Bailey, Emily, James, and Zoe, along with extended family, and so many treasured friends from all over the world, all of whom will miss Dylan greatly.

Services for Dylan will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Max Slayton Funeral Chapel in Terrell, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the funeral home.
