He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Powell and Fay Powell; and his sisters, Cordelia Hipps and Jerri Pettigrew. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Powell, Debbie Caughran and Royce Owen; his grandsons, Clay, Jack, Garrett, Joshua and Jacob; and his brother Ron Powell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
