It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Shellhorse of Terrell, Texas, born in Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matthew and Pearl Lee Shellhorse (Hudgens); and his siblings, Joyce Reynolds and Robert "Bo" Shellhorse. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Shellhorse; his son David Shellhorse (Nancy); his grandchildren, Paige Shellhorse and Clark Shellhorse (Leah); and his siblings, John Shellhorse, Charles Nutt (Sue) and Charlene Howell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
En Lieu of flowers, the family knows Gene would appreciate a donation to the Texas Baptist Men organization to provide disaster relief to people in their greatest time of need.
