He is survived by: his son Hans; his wife JoAnne Peterson; his children, David Peterson (Carolyn), Darwin Peterson (Kathy), Kevin Peterson (Deena), Julie Leach (Michael), Karen Briles (David), Sandra Dargel (David) and Stanley Peterson (Teresa); his siblings, Ralph Peterson (Jeanette) and Lila Creager (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Marlys Peterson and Eunice Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
