He was predeceased by : his parents, Rupert Haskell Adams and Betty Maurine Garrison Adams; and his sister Patricia Bowdin. He is survived by : his children, Larry Adams (Monica) of Fort Worth and Susan Gibson (Jason) of Wills Point; his siblings, Kenneth Adams, Sharon Zandt of Waxahachie and Jean Herrington (Larry) of Mineola; his grandson Bud Adams (Jamie) of Quinlan; his sisters, Casey Adams (Larissa) of Elmo, Morgan Dontis (James) of Las Vegas, Maegan Gibson of Quinlan, Jayce Gibson (Morgan) of Terrell and Sara Coble of Fort Worth; and his great grandchildren, Abby Arnold, Libby Adams, Shelby Adams, Jason Dontis, Addison Dontis, Stephen Adams and Jameson Gibson.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home (1462 E Quinlan Pkwy, Quinlan, TX 75474). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
