Maxine Darst Flatt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Maxine Darst Flatt (Terrell, Texas). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maxine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Jefferson; and her grandmother Lee Valentine (McEnturff). She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Kling of Dallas and Martha Darst of Dallas; her grandson Jason Evans (Haleh) of Calabasas, CA; her great grandchild Samuel; her stepson Darrell Flatt (Donna) of Tyler; and her stepgrandchildren, John and Madeline. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and very cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Max Slayton Funeral Chapel (642 N Rockwall Ave, Terrell, TX 75160).
