She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ray and Velma Lee Barr; her siblings, Serena Ann Barr and Michael Ray Barr; and her son Keith Abbott.

She is survived by: her husband Maurice Abbott; her sister Sandra Lou Smotherman; her children, Synde (Bill Rogers) of Arlington, TX and Greg (Janie Ramsey) of Athens, TX.; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Kerri Rogers of San Diego, CA; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Adalyn, Joseph and Levi; her grandchildren, David and Brittany Rogers of Arlington, TX; her great grandchildren, Casen, Madden and Kinsley; her grandchildren, Sam, Olivia Ramsey of Weatherford, TX, Jack Ramsey of Weatherford, TX and Sarah (Dallas Baker) of Palo Pinto, TX; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Allie and Braylie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
