With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Dowd of Texarkana, Texas, born in Mulberry, Arkansas, who passed away on August 16, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Merle Cole; her husband Robert S. "Bobby" Dowd; her stepsons, Kirk, Randy and Doug Dowd; and her siblings, Joyce Treat, Carmel Adams, Frances Roe, Henson, Jesse, Bill and Bobby Cole.

She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Susan (Louis Slimer) of Texarkana Texas and Mona Dowd of Texarkana Texas; her grandchildren, Marjorie Beth Slimer and David Randall Dowd Jr.; her great grandchildren, Eleanore and Jacob Dowd; her siblings, Merle Ann Stovall, Marsha Mirra, Pam Hudson and Tommy Cole; and her close friend Margie Reed. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
