He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bell and Muriel Bell; his brothers, Bud and Dick Bell; and his sisters-in-law, Ina Bell and Bobbie Chambers.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hall Bell; his daughter Beth; his son-in-law Roy Melton; his son Joe of Texarkana; his daughter-in-law Sharon Bell of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Jennifer Heintschel (Jared) of Hooks, TX, Denver Bell of Texarkana, Monica Melton of Texarkana and Nichole Callahan (Herbert) of Texarkana; his great grandchildren, Alexis Bell, Jazmyn Callahan, Evan Heintschel, Tytis Callahan and Olivia Anderson; his siblings, Frances Harvey of Mena, AR and Rev. David; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Bell of Ozark, MO, Donna Bell of Arrowsmith, IN and Rex Chambers of Texarkana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
