He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Grig" Hightower and Blanch Hightower (Goodman); his wife June Hightower; his son Randy Hightower; his grandson Allen Hightower; and his siblings, Sonny, Allen, Bud, Johnny, Reagan Hightower, Claudia Clay, Corine Willoughby and June Abernathy.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Hall (John) and Rodney Hightower; his siblings, Bob Hightower and Anna Lee; and his grandchildren, Shawn Hall (Lynn), Kyle Hall (Erin), Derek Hall, Cody Hightower, Rod Arnold and Misty Roberson (Josh). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
