He was predeceased by: his wife Ernestine Sanders; his father Bebe Sanders; his stepfather Willie Mae; his siblings, Donetta Friesen, Ellen Williams, James Clyde Williams and Jimmy Neal Williams; and his brother-in-law JT Lee.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Donna Gwin Wells (Kent) of Brentwood, Tennessee and Michael Gwin (Lynsey) of Ashdown, Arkansas; his siblings, Gwen Thompson (Steve) of Grove, Lissa Lee of Hydro and Dennis Williams of Arkansas; his siblings-in-law, Debi Williams of Bradly, Martha Wright (Carl) of Ashdown, Rosalie Tabler (Gary) of Ben Lomond, Ruby Stephenson of Ashdown, Lena Seymour of Ashdown, Arkansas, Melvin Seymour (Theresa) of Ashdown and Alvin Seymour (Laurie) of Foreman, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Derek, Austin, Jack, Alex Wells, Grace Boyd, Nathan and Andrew Gwin (Kasidy); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Oliver Wells, Jett Boyd and Finley Gwin. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wilton Baptist Church.
