We are sad to announce that, on September 23, 2025, at the age of 76, David Wayne Birdwell (Texarkana, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, R. B. Birdwell and Bessie Birdwell; and his siblings, Neil Birdwell and Jo Ellen Sisk. He is survived by: his significant other Sherry Ann Birdwell (Evans); his daughters, Leigh Ann Haley (Robert Cullom), Lori Willard (Jordan) and Lindsey Prewitt (Cliff); his grandchildren, Jade Harris (Will), Allison Haley, Slate Ruth, Martin Haley, Carter Prewitt, Sam Prewitt, Anna Haley and Judah Willard; and his sister Janet Hoffheins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Church of Red Lick, P.O. Box 60, Nash, Tx 75569.
