He is survived by: his children, William Joseph Mitchell (Danielle Mitchell) of Hooks, Texas, Donna Beth Duncan (Paige Jones) of New Boston, Texas and Brandy Smith; his wife Penny Mitchell (Grider); his son-in-law Christopher Duncan of Hooks, Texas; his children, Brandon Morgan of Indiana and Bridgett Morgan of Indiana; his grandchildren, Karlee Beth Mitchell, D'Anna Pearson, Ethan Mitchell, Micah Cooper, Calvin Duncan, Lillian Cooper, Jude Duncan, Rochelle Duncan, Nathan Smith, Bethany McKee, Dustin McKee, Alejandro Morgan and Marcos Morgan; his great grandchild Elora Smith; and his siblings, Melva Batts (Keith Batts) of Hooks, Texas and Dewayne Mitchell (Betty Mitchell) of Longview, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, distant family and close friends.
