He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Moser and Otto Moser. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Moser of DeKalb; his children, Lynn McBroom (Ben), Stephen Oden, Jr. (Abbe) and Anna Graves (David); his grandchildren, Edwin Stephen Oden, III (Chip), Robert Stephen McBroom, Mary Margaret Oden, Mary Ann Graves, Patrick William McBroom (Rick), Georgia Marie Graves and Henry Garrett Graves; and his sister Gretchen Nichols (Dan). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams United Methodist Church.
