He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Cox and Edna Olds Cox. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Saunders Cox; his daughters, Tracie Horneman (Renzie) and Missy Cox (David) of Blevins; his siblings, Don Cox of Dallas, TX, Barbara Burns of Springhill, Joan Lively of Cross Roads and Betty Sue Lee of Springhill; his grandchildren, Racie Poindexter (Erik) and Payton (Poindexter); his great grandchildren, Christian Valdez, Alec Valdez and Maverick Poindexter; Zac, Mikala, Dillon Saunders, Jewell Poindexter and Lilli Sanders. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
