He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Marie and Homer Scott; and his wife Doris Jean Scott. He is survived by: his siblings, Tommy Scott and Ruth Middleton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Northwood Cemetery, 5800 Richmond Road, Texarkana, Texas.
