He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Perkins and Joel B. Perkins; his brother Joe Paul Perkins; and his great grandchild Maddie Russell. He is survived by: his wife Mickie Perkins; his daughter Heather Smith (Tommy); his sister Mary Ellen Johnson (Tony); his sisters-in-law, Karen Perkins and Johnnie Barnes; his grandchildren, Brittany Mcglaun (Jon), Matthew Russell and Hannah Roberts (Cameron); and his great grandchild Jon Mcglaun Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers he requested that donations be made to the Texas Mission Builders or ABA Missions Office, PO Box 1050 Texarkana, Texas 75504.
