It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy Cobb of Texarkana, Texas, born in Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clayton and Clara Fay Sturgeon; her brothers, Bill and Alan Sturgeon; her husband Ray; and her daughter Sharon Williams.

She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Maddox (Scott) and Renee Morris (Stephen); her son-in-law Allen Williams; her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Laura Beth Maddox, Sarah O'Keefe (Drew), Danny and Nick Williams; her niece Brenda Sutton; her great-niece Laura Richards (Chris); her sisters-in-law, Judy Sturgeon and Millie Sturgeon; and her cousin Ann Barfield. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Texarkana.
