She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Alcorn and Ralph Bliss; her sons, Steven Avard and Sammy Avard; her husbands, Richard L. Abbott and John Jarvis; and her former husband Joseph L. Avard.
She is survived by: her pet Sassy Pants; her daughter Jamie Avard-Fernandez (Bernardo) of Austin; her stepdaughter Cindi Abbott of Monroe, LA; her daughter-in-law Angie Avard of Santa Fe, NM; her grandchildren, Christopher (Amber), Alex (Emily), Alonso, Santiago (Annie), Alana Kittle (Kristopher), Dylan and Alyssa; and her great grandchildren, Kadyn, Ensley and Ashtyn.
