With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Bowerman (Texarkana, Texas), who passed away on November 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Rochelle and Rosa Lee Rochelle; her siblings, John Rochelle and Johnnie Slaton; her daughter Kay Davis; and her great grandchild Kayle Lee.
She is survived by: her husband James D. Bowerman; her son Doug; her daughter-in-law Terri Bowerman; her grandchildren, Jan Whitley, Jack, Sam, Abby Bowerman, Kevin McCraw and Misti Adams; her great grandchildren, Mason Nixon, Emily Lewis, Kaden Lee, Linny Lee and Tony McCraw; and her great great grandchild Carter Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Funeral Home-Moores Lane (2807 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Funeral Home Moores Lane Chapel (2807 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503).
