He is survived by: his brother James Ashby; his son Anthony Ashby; his wife Brenda Ashby; his sister Rebecca Bloodworth; and his children, Michael Ashby, Jr. (Lynda), John Ashby (Jamie), Mary McMahon (Craig) and Tim Ashby (Lori). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
