She was predeceased by: her husband Gopal Krishna; her sister Shachi; and her brother-in-law V. K. Vedsen. She is survived by: her sons, Samir, Niraj and Rahul; her grandson Carter; her daughters-in-law, Sarah and Scarlett; her siblings, Kumkum Sinha (late N. K. Sinha), Sushil (Rani Gauriar), Santosh (Nisha Gauriar), Sudhir (Ruby Gauriar) and Rashmi (Vikas Sharan); and her caregivers, Audrey, Myla and Alaina.
