She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Cummings and Lillian Simmons Cummings; her brother Stephen Oscar Cummings; and her granddaughter Carrissa Woodraska. She is survived by: her husband Billy Pate; her children, Stephen Woodraska (Kathy), Guy Duplantis, Jr. (Brittney) and Kimberley Tamayo; her sisters, Mary Smallwood, Brenda Mitchell, Rita Cummings, Lillian Whatley, Betty Floyd and Shyrl Aultman; her grandchildren, Gary Woodraska, Cole Crye, Alisa Alcorn, Jacob Tamayo and Brioni Duplantis; and her great grandchildren, Braxton Gaither, Jackson Woodraska, Blake Alcorn and Jameson Woodraska. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
