He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Burnett; his son Michael Edward Burnett; his parents, Reuben Burnett and Dollie Burnett; and his siblings, Kenneth Burnett (Martha), Don Burnett, Jewel McWilliams (Charles Doss), Christine Ervin (Gene), Wanda Durham, Irene Smith, Velma Bishop (Harold) and Doris Gilliam (Roy).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Burnett (Staci) and Merida Grable (David); his grandchildren, Brandon Burnett (Brandy), Joshua Grable (Candice), Blayne Burnett and Nicole Hall (Buddy); his great grandchildren, Christian, Stephanie, Studdard, Cade, Ava Burnett and Emily Hall; his siblings, Carl Ray Burnett (Doris), Gary Burnett (Carrol), Reuben Dural Burnett (Loretta), Phillip Burnett (Susan), Cynthia Ivanoski (David), Judy Henningsen (Mike) and Theressa Harper (Gerald); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Burnett and Sharon Burnett.
