He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Bernice Harvey Mortensen. He is survived by: his son Will Mortensen of Texarkana, Texas; and his grandsons, Todd William Mortensen (Miranda) of Dallas, Texas, Joseph Henry Mortensen of Dallas, Texas and Samuel Patrick Mortensen of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home (3515 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX 75503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
