He was predeceased by: his father Knute Ringstad; his parents-in-law, Wesley and Dolores Perren, Sr.; and his stepfather Steve Martinsen. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Ringstad; his mother Inger Rassmussen of Norway; his son Eric Nicholas Ringstad (Claribel) of Texas City; his sisters, Lisbeth Mackenzie of Queen Creek and Unni Nordlie (Tjerie) of Norway; his brothers-in-law, Wesley Perren, Jr. (Karen) and Darwin Perren (Dayna); his grandchild Hendrix Ringstad; and his pets, Abby, Rusty and Brandy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
