He is survived by: his wife Paula Nelson; his children, Kendra Cantu (Steve) and Michael Rohde (Kristy); his grandchildren, Jodee Cornish, Alex Cantu, Hendrix Cantu, Christopher Slaten, Ciale Slaten, Cierra Slaten and Chanse Slaten; his sisters, Marge Zeller, Phyllis Glenn, Mary Turner and Cris Samons (Jerry); his sisters-in-law, Laura McDonald and Vicki Nelson; and his nieces and nephews, Carolyn Zeller, Jackie Zeller, Shelley Lamb (Brian), Pamela Payrot (Lee), Melissa Fenske (Stu), Vanessa Clark (Dan), Matti Pope (Justin), James Rohde, Dayna Rohde and Liz Lorfing (Randy). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
