He was predeceased by: his father Robert Mace. He is survived by: his mother Deanna Murphree (Dee); his wife Charlene Annette Brumbelow Davis; and his siblings, Amanda Murphree (Ken), Patricia Murphree, Mike Murphree (Melanie), Randall Murphree (Brenda), Dave Murphree (Andrea) and Braydon "Dewey" (Heather). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Thomaston Volunteer Fire Department, an organization Hugh held close to his heart.
