He was predeceased by : his parents, Alma Hengst (Niemtschk) and Oscar Hengst; his daughter Brenda; and his siblings, Roy, Clarence, Louis, Bernice, Gladys and Alice.
He is survived by : his wife Dolores Patschke; his daughter Janet Ryon; his son-in-law Richard Ryon; and his grandson Joshua Ryon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the St. Paul Lutheran General Fund or the "Build the Vision" Fund.
