He was predeceased by: his parents, Atanacio Pereida Sr. and Maria Charles Pereida; his brothers, Juan Pereida, Atanacio Pereida Jr., Arnoldo Pereida and David Pereida; and his nephew Mark Navejar.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amber Hooks (Anthony), Stephanie Villarreal (Andrew), Tiffany Calderon (Christian) and Erica Alonso (Hector); and his siblings, Rogelio Pereida (Mary), Henry Pereida (Linda), Oralia, Sylvia Sanchez (Juan), Oracia Godbee (David), Lupita Zuniga and Rosalinda Soliz (Jesse). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
