As Esperanza departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Esperanza may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Esperanza leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Saenz and Hortencia Saenz (Gonzalez). She is survived by: her husband Francisco Alaniz of George West; her daughters, Isabel Hernandez (Juan) of George West, Elda Salazar (Antonio) of San Marcos and Maria Del Carmen Molina of George West; and her brother Robert Saenz of Alice. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. George Catholic Church (304 Crockett St, George West, TX 78022). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
