As we bid adieu to Gloria's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gloria has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Emiliano Rea and Ignacia Rea (Martinez). She is survived by : her daughter Elizabeth Matthews of Corpus Christi; her siblings, Guadalupe Moreida of Corpus Christi, Maria De Jesus Strosnider of Denver, CO., Salomon Rea of Alice and Jose Luis Rea of Victoria; and her granddaughter Valorie Vestman of Washington.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (98 W Main St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (801 S Reynolds St, Alice, TX 78332).
