It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hightower of Timpson, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Hightower and James Andrew Hightower; and his stepson Todd Bush. He is survived by: his wife Leatha; his children, Rick Hightower (Vicki) and Debra Stamnitz (Glen); his stepsons, Tim Bush (Janelle), Trevin Bush (Janice) and Sean Bush (Sondra); and his daughter-in-law Cindy Bush.
