He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Cain and Patsy Cain (Pennell); his wife Marie Cain (Kirchenbauer); his uncles, Wilbur Pennell, George William Teague and Tim Dobbs; his nephews, Kevin Dobbs and Neice (Jennifer Kirchenbauer); his cousin Georgie Teague; and his sister-in-law Vicky Cain.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Payne (Jeremy), Kathy Cole (Laramie) and Jaimie Cain (Kevin); his grandchildren, Emily Payne, Jeremy Payne Jr. (Kelsea), Randi Ellis (Tanner), Kendal Cole and Wade Cole; his great grandchildren, Gus and Ginny Ellis; his siblings, Ricky Cain, Mark Cain and Debra Cox; his aunt Brenda Dobbs; and his close friend Linda Wadford.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Turrentine Jackson Morrow (201 W Maple St, Whitewright, TX 75491). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
